1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits, such as what’s in your cart. Some are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay for a set time.
2. Essential cookies
These make the store work. Without them, the cart, checkout and account sign-in can’t function, so they can’t be switched off on our side.

3. Order attribution cookies
These record how you arrived at our store, such as the referring website, search engine or campaign, and your device type. When you place an order, this source is saved with it so we can understand which channels bring customers. They don’t identify you by name and aren’t used for advertising.

4. Advertising cookies (Google Ads)
We use the Google tag to measure which Google ads lead to visits and purchases, and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. It sets these cookies on homebackupco.com, and Google may set its own cookies on Google domains.

5. Other third-party cookies
Our payment processor may set its own cookies during checkout to process your payment securely and prevent fraud. These are governed by the processor’s privacy policy.
We don’t use social media tracking pixels or third-party analytics. If we add any, we’ll update this page first.
6. How to control cookies
You can view, block and delete cookies in your browser settings. Each browser explains how in its help pages: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all provide controls under Settings, Privacy.
If you block essential cookies, the cart, checkout and account features won’t work. Blocking order attribution or advertising cookies doesn’t affect your shopping. You can also opt out of Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
